This week’s assignments were informative into
how to develop my research topic. I was a bit overwhelmed with all the
information, and how I write the research plan. I know I will get it eventually
it’s just a little stressful! I am very interested in my research topic that I chose
which is about overage students on our campus. I really feel that if
these students can be given a chance to succeed they will. We have to
remember that success does not look the same for every student, and these
students have fallen behind and need to be given a new chance to be successful.
That sounds like a very interesting topic. I want these kids to have second chances and I know they can graduate and succeed. Many take advantage of that and use their second chance, but a few of the 19 and 20 year olds we have at our school are still causing trouble and being disruptive. It seems like a few are not there to graduate, but because a judge has ordered them to, or they wish to continue their "business" dealings on campus. I would like to see what kind of data you come up with as to what is the best situation for them and how many graduate. What are you planning for your actual proposal?
